GitMacHub: work across every GitHub account

Every developer with a day job knows the split: one GitHub account for work, one for personal projects, and a long history of git config accidents that sent a personal commit into a work repository.

GitMacHub is a native macOS client built for exactly that split. It keeps all your GitHub accounts in one window, each with its own credentials and repositories, and it never touches your global git config.

What it does

• Per-account credentials. Sign in with a personal access token or SSH key per account, scoped the way you want, stored securely on your Mac.
• Everything in one window. Repositories, pull requests, issues, and releases across every account, clearly separated.
• One-click switching. Accounts swap without touching your git config or global identity.

Why local

GitHub is a cloud service, but the client does not have to be. GitMacHub talks to the GitHub API from your machine, keeps credentials on your Mac, and has no cloud layer of its own and no telemetry.

Part of a larger suite

GitMacHub is part of a larger suite of local, offline-friendly apps (web, Mac, and mobile) developed by AIVI AI Services, an AI consulting firm based in Amsterdam. Every app in the suite follows the same rule: your data stays on your device, and the software runs without a subscription to a cloud service.

GitMacHub is free during early access, with a donate button rather than a paywall for now.
